Other household staff: Houseman, Butler, Chef-Cook, Elder Care

Houseman

• Fills a very practical job in that his talents can cover a wide range of tasks, including taking over some of the tasks that the female household staff can and or cannot do (heavier tasks).
• Scrubbing the grill, getting on ladder to brush away cob webs, hosing down the patio or upper balconies, cleaning and organizing the garage area.
• Driver
• Driving children to and from school and to after school activities.
• Formal serving of the dinner, mixing drinks for guests, serving guests at parties, attending to overnight needs of guests, along with other household tasks.
• Walking the dogs & general pet care such as bathing the dog or taking it to the groomer/vet.
• Organizing and labeling bins for tools and other household supplies.
• Ironing the table linens, polishing the silver, maintaining the bar area.
• Organizing and scrubbing down basement/garage area
• Tending to some garden, spa and pool needs
• Lighter cooking

Butler

Our typical butler candidate is not the "who done it" guy in the movies nor is he reserved for the British at tea time. Much like the houseman, the butler can do a variety of useful duties for the entire family

• Many of the same duties of the houseman. (see above)
• Driving duties for the entire family (including the children),
• Cooking light breakfast or lunch, preparing sandwiches or snacks for family and or guests.
• Dog to the groomer, walking the dogs.
• Formal serving of the dinner, mixing drinks for guests, serving guests at parties, attending to overnight needs of guests, along with other household tasks.

Cooks & Chefs

• We do provide both full time and part time Chefs/cooks.
• Our chefs & cooks have a variety of culinary school training.
• They provide a wide range of specialty cooking from traditional French to modified healthy heart/ diet minded cooking.
• We have specialty chefs whose forte is organic.
• Chefs can cook for small formal and informal dinner parties as well as for elaborate dinner events.

Elder Care

• Seven day live -in or come- go elder care is available.
• The majority of our elder care candidates will only take a day off every eight to ten days.
• We coordinate the fill in person on your caregiver's day off!
